Essay:(Terrorism in Pakistan)

Terrorism means the use violence to make the people frighten. We can categorize terrorism into different types like religious terrorism, political terrorism, and many more. Terrorists are those persons who cause terrorism and are involved in terrorism activities. Terrorism has become a global problem. Terrorism can trace its beginnings in the volatile region of Afghanistan where wrapped in starched black turbans, hiding in obscure caves, the Taliban began their furtive mission to destroy world peace. After what seemed like years of dormancy as far as wars and fights were concerned, terror erupted in the form of the attack on the Twin Towers of the World Trade center in New York – the largest foreign attack on the United States soil in history. Leaving the United States shocked and distressed, the terrorists announced even more atrocities against the civilians of the world. The world watched in shocked rapture as the United States warmed up it machinery, and began what is called the largest and costliest assault against the threat of terrorism. In this present situation Pakistan is among those countries which are facing the problem of terrorism.
The origin of terrorism in Pakistan can be traced back to two important events that brought obscurantism, intolerance and resultant terrorism in Pakistan. Before 1980, religion has never been a controversial issue in Pakistan. The sectarian militants emerged in Pakistan after the 1979 Iran Revolution which transformed the nature and magnitude of sectarian violence in Pakistan. Pakistan is a country that was established on the name of Islam but now innocent people are being killed in Pakistan. The current government of Pakistan is unable to protect the precious lives of innocent citizens of Pakistan. There are two kinds of terrorism in Pakistan i.e. religious terrorism and political terrorism. Every day the innocent people are killed in Pakistan due to terrorism. These days Pakistan is going through hard times under the hand of terrorists activities.
The terrorists used modern technology effectively. The automatic weapons and electrically bursting explosives encouraged terrorists to act violently while providing them with an easier way of attacking. Suicide Bombing has made it even more dangerous and alarming. Pakistan has been so much indulged in “The War against Terrorism” that there is no way to find out as far as quitting this serious situation is concerned. She has to bear the brunt of this unprovoked situation in the shape of organized violence, murders, bomb blasts, rapes, corruption, torture and brutality. This would further aggravate Pessimism, mistrust, hostility and cynicism and would exasperate ethnicity, sectarianism, tribal, clan politics. These effects of Terrorism on Pakistan will further devastate the economic stability and the peace and tranquility would probably vanish from Pakistan.

If we probe deep into the matter there are different causes of terrorism. Some injustice, inequality or favoritism by some government or ruling  party. Some political powers  when fail to get the upper hand by fair means pick up this unfair and immoral weapon and try to create panic and disaster in their desired areas, They also have the support of some of their staunch supporters. The religious extremists are often unable to bear any opinion opposite to theirs, Hence there is no legal way to block the way of their opponents so they  take this extreme steps  and cause a great loss to humanity, Government of Pakistan should protect the citizens of Pakistan because it is always the responsibility of the state to protect people’s life. Security agencies should take their duty with responsibility and investigation teams should reach to the real criminal or murderer. Police is still unable to arrested dangerous killers.

In short terrorism is a curse of this age which would at last come to an end but its horrible memories will haunt for ever on the pages of history. It will be better for us to get rid of it as soon as possible.

Essay:(Discipline)

Discipline means acting is an orderly manner in strict obedience to some rules. When we watch a machine working, we admire the regularity and precision with which it moves. Our world too is a big machine. The sun, the moon and the stars move in the sky with unfailing regularity. The change of seasons, the rain, the mist and snow,  all obey the  nature, as fixed by the Creator. There is a perfect beauty and order in God’s creation. There is complete discipline in nature. So discipline is essential in the individual as well as in nature. So discipline is essential in the individual as well as in the collective life of society.
The inner self of a man should be disciplined above everything our thoughts and feelings Should be trained to perform their function in a methodical manner. We should regulate our desires and impulses as they are great enemies to our moral nature, We must learn to control the temptations of our flesh, and pride. Self-discipline implies that we follow the dictates of our conscience and not of our evil self. When a man has truly discipline himself in his individual life, it is very for him to learn discipline in the collective life.
Discipline is necessary in every walk of life. Domestic life loses its comfort and charms if it is not guided by a well-ordered plan If all the members of the family follow their individual whims without acknowledging the superior direction of the head, the house in which they live ceases to be a home. Father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters may live in a house, and yet they may not feel  quite at home unless they observe discipline. So discipline in domestic life means love, harmony and peace among all members of the family. It demands subordination of individuals to the common interest of others.
In the art of government too it is discipline that forms the foundation of good rule as without discipline the whole structure will topple down. The greater the discipline the better the form of government it might be monarchy or democracy-it does not matter, but the important thing that imparts strength and stability to a country is the spirit of discipline.
Discipline is absolutely necessary organizations as well. No business can thrive unless all its partners go by the laws framed for its guidance and all its employers are actuated by a sense of discipline. Discipline is the very soul of every military organization. An army without discipline is but an unruly mob. A class-room becomes a pandemonium if the student show no discipline. In public offices, hospitals, mills and factories, the very first condition of success is discipline. Discipline saves  time  and energy and work is done in a much less time by disciplined men.

Essay:(The value of science in every day life)

We live in the age of science.New scientific inventions have revolutionized human life. The comforts of daily life have also been so increased, and the distance between countries have been so minimized that the entire world seem like a big town.
In this scientific age our means of transport have undergone very drastic changes.Donkey carts and horse wagons have given place to motor cycles, cars, buses and trucks.Today we can move much faster than our legs can carry us.Railways, steamships and aeroplanes have given man mastery over land, sea and air, and the very forces of nature which would, otherwise, destroy us,have become our salves. The discovery of steam power and electricity has worked wonders in all walks of life.Power looms are taking the place of hand looms, and big industries are being worked with the force of steam, gas and electricity,Thus, the wealth of nation has increased and the world is marching towards happiness and comfort.
Science is also done the wonders in the world of medicine Treatment by X-ray and radio-active waves is one of the great wonders of science.Difficult surgical operation have become a routine these days, and many diseases like small pox, plague,T.B and cancer have been controlled.Wonderful drugs like penicillin, Chloroquine and many other antibiotics have killed these killers themselves. Quinine has finished malaria, and glucose injections put a new life in dying man. Again, with the help of plastic surgery one can easily overhaul the body of the wounded soldier or an injured man.

By finishing the barriers of distance, that formerly divided the world into so many parts, Science has also enabled us to send help to other part of the world in times of emergency. At home too, in our homes has gas stoves, electric cookers, oven, electric fans and lights etc. There is television and computer to entertain the people.
Our social life too has become more and more rich with the help of scientific inventions.Cinema entertains and, computer and television sweeten our lives. Thus, science has become a hand maid of man, It is working miracles for us But we should also see that this knowledge is not miss-used, and that man applies it only for the good of humanity.

Essay:(My favorite hero)
Man is a hero-worshiper by nature, and always regards one person or the other as his ideal. To me, Quid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah is an ideal national hero.I honour him not only because he fought the battle of independence for Indian Muslims but, as a leader also he won our dear motherland for us.No doubt, he was a great leader. Although he had lean and thin body but he had strong will power and a very sharp intellect.
What attracts me most towards the great Quaid is the fact that he was a great warrior hero.He fought an intelligent but peaceful battle against two enemies, the Hindu Nationalists and the British Imperialists, at one and the same time.Sometimes his followers felt disheartened and impatient, and his enemies called him a reactionary and a 'today',but he pushed forward with rare courage and, ultimately, succeeded in his purpose.Mr.M.A.Jinnah was a sober and cool-headed man.If once he was convinced about anything,he did his best to achieve it.He started his career as a barrister at Bombay, and,in spit of a strong Hindu majority in that profession,he rose to a very high position simply but didn't of hard work and ability. He joined the All India Congress in 1906 and there too,he was regarded as one of the strongest man of the party. At last, being dissatisfied with the policies of Hindu nationalists,he resigned and went away to England to practice law.
After the first Great war the Indian Muslims developed a political consciousness under the guidance of Maulana Muhammad Ali Jauhar and,Maulana Shaukat Ali.They formed an organization, called."The All India Muslim League"in 1906.Quid-e-Azam was requested to come back to his country to take over as president of the All India Muslim League. The Quaid-e-azam accepted the offer and almost all the Muslims gathered under his flag, and in 1940 the Pakistan Resolution was passed.Quid-e-azam's leadership inspired even the most dull man,and with in seven years Muslims were able to win Pakistan in 1947.
Quid's iron will and firm determination inspired bv everyone to do his best. They called him'Quid-e-Azam' the great leader. He died in 1948 and left his followers in gloom.let us pray that the principles that he followed, and the country that he created, many live long, and for ever.
Essay:(An ideal student)

The future of the country depends not on soldiers and merchants but on student and scholars.
The first duty of an ideal student, therefore,is to keep his body.To keep his body healthy, active and agile.A sound mind against he attacks of disease and sickness,he should take a keen interest in games and sports and also do different physical exercises.Games not only build his health but also play a important part in the formation of his character and personality.Games give student initiative for leadership, team spirit and sportsmanship. The proverb says,"The battle of Waterloo was won on the play grounds of Eton."That is why several courses of military training are introduced in schools and colleges. It is simply with a view to develop the health of students and to build their character. So it is the duty of every student to participate in these activities and serve both his own interest and the interest of is country. So an ideal student is never careless of his health and physical fitness. He builds his muscles by healthy exercises. He recognizer the dignity of manual labour, and adopts simplicity and self-restraint.
On the intellectual side, an ideal student should devote a greater part of his time in the pursuit of knowledge and wisdom. He should put his whole heart in the books, as "Reading make a perfect man".An ideal student has a deep of love for books and goes to the library regularly. But at the same time he does not lose the glow of his own individuality or become a slave of other people's thoughts. He knows well that knowledge without character is wickedness just as force without justice is tyranny.A good student, should, therefore, not only develop his knowledge but also his moral characters.Obedience of parents, respect for teachers, sympathy for the poor.
An ideal student should be inspired with patriotic sentiments and should always volunteer himself for social service.

Road Side Beggars:

Road side beggars are quite common in our cities. They meet us anywhere and everywhere. Most of them are clothed in rags with a pitiable look and sickly gait. Some beggars like to sit under shady places by the side of busy roads to attract the passers by in different ways.Their main purpose is to appeal to the sense of sympathy of others, and thus,to get alms. Some roadside beggars get their limbs deformed simply to excite people's sense of pity. Most of these beggars are professionals and adopt begging simply because they were brought up to it.Only a few of them adopt this profession by way of compulsion. Thus,it is a fact that about eighty percent of our road-side beggars are quite healthy and they are physically fit to work in any factory or workshop. But as beggary is a comparatively easy job for them, they choose it as a profession.Of course, really disabled and helpless beggars deserve our attention and help. But it is very difficult to differentiate between a really deserving man and a professional. This problem can be solved only if our Govermment may make a law forbidding beggary, and direct all 'Social' Welfare Agencies to set up'Poor Houses'for deserving beggars.
